Each toss is affected by the office fan which pops up in different spots, so you have to account for both wind speed and direction.
The graphics deserve a mention. Your offices is rendered in gorgrous detail from the stock blue office carpet, to the windows XP wallpaper on the PC. And the audio is worth putting on your headphones for. An ambient loop of typing clicks, office fans and monotonous office sounds will have you cringing before long. lob a stray ball into someone’s cubicle and hear them complain.
Apple has just announced the iPhone 3Gs “the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet.”. Until the next product cycle commences anyway. The new iPhone will be 2x faster than the iPhone 3G when surfing and loading apps. Looking cosmetically the same on the outside, the new phone does come wiht a slew of new features under the hood. Of note are the improved 3D support – more games. A new 3 megapixel camera which is video capapble – Let nothing ever go uncaptured. Voice control, which will no doubt be used in some amazing apps. “Computer, read email” or “Computer, find me the nearest toilet”. Proper GPS like navigation which knows which direction you are facing. Again great for gaming. And last but definitely not least a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating on the touch glass.

It’s nothing short of amazing how the iPod / iPhone have in a short space of time given us such a vast number of applications. Sure a whole lot of them may be Kwap, but every now and then one appears which just blows your mind away with how creatively people are making use of the iPhone’s interface.

Take a look at Smule’s Ocarina – a wind pipe instrument which Zelda fans should be familiar with. This app cleverly utilises the speaker on the iPhone and the touch interface to mimic an ocarina. Once you have mastered a couple of tunes (you can get sheet music from SMule.com), you can even upload the music to share with other players. All via an amazing globe interface.

InvisibleSHIELDs provide maximum protection for your ipods/ iphones and laptops and they are so low profile you won’t even know they are there. It’s hard to believe that such sheer protection will actually safeguard your ipod/laptop from scratches. But invisibleSHIELDs were originally meant to protect military helicopter blades from high speed damage and those things spin at around 450 rpm. Each invisibleSHIELD is made of a thin, clear film which is virtually invisible keeping your device’s original aesthetics intact.

This fits with what we have heard here at MacStylez. Apple has stopped production of the 2nd gen iPhone and the first batch of 3G phones is being made in Taiwan as we speak. If all goes well, we should be getting our sweaty hands on some very very soon.

This happens to be great for us readers who get the full low-down on just how well iPods stand up to being tossed out of a moving car, thrown down a flight of stairs and subjected to other simulated snuff activity.

You can check out their review of Gelaskins where they are put through scratch tests. Proves that Gelakins not only look great but do a damn good job of protecting your iPods as well.

Klear Screen’s iKlear Apple cleaning kits definitely come with some respectable street cred. They are recommended by Apple and used on US Space shuttles and space stations. And if NASA trusts iKlear to protect their multi-dollar investments in space technology, then it’s probably good enough for the rest of us.

Each kit comes with a bottle of cleaning solution, special high tech equipment cleaning chamois, and a host of travel wipes. The iKlear polishing formula is non-toxic and environmentally free (yay!) and the optical grade clothes are made of the softest materials which your mac will love. This is the ultimate in Apple care.

Micro channels means that each skin is a cinch to apply correctly, leaving no unsightly bubbles. They are also scratch resistant and removable without leaving a trace on your ipod/laptop.

But what makes these skins really stand out are the amazing designs. The artwork is created by a global network of contemporary culture definiing designers and artists such as Gianluca Mattia and Australian Nanami Cowdroy. These skins will definitely get heads turning.
